Dr. JoAnn Butrin has served as director of International Ministries since 2005. She began her missionary career in 1972 as a missionary nurse in Africa where she was involved in evangelism, mobile clinics, rural hospitals and community health promotion. Fourteen years later, she joined the staff of HealthCare Ministries, the worldwide Assemblies of God medical missions outreach and was appointed as director in 1996. She has authored several books and has lectured in many countries on Christian relief and development, singles in ministry, HIV/AIDS and community health.
